point 32 bit to floating point 16 bit??

not anymore, but i know the code was somewhere on the nvidia page. i guess you can find it in the cg package somewhere in the sources..

there you can find the SDK for the OpenEXR image format, an image format with 16 bit (half) float per channel. There is also a class for converting betwen 32bit and 16bit float
