View Full Version : OpenGL BoF at SIGGRAPH?

Hi everybody,

trying to plan my SIGGRAPH trip I realized that there is no OpenGL BoF listed on the official BoF page. Does that mean there is not going to be a BoF, or is the date just not decided yet?

I hope the latter, there's a lot of stuff I want to hear. ;)

Has anybody seen any indication of when it will be that I missed?

Thanks

Dirk

thanks for the hint! That was a little hidden...

I think it would still be a good idea to list at least the main one with SIGGRAPH (some of the sub-ones are listed already).

Also I'm a little skeptical about the benefit of registrations. I'm thinking many people will just register for everything and decide just-in-time where to go (SIGGRAPH is a busy place...).

But I'm looking forward to it anyway. :)

Thanks

Dirk

There's now a link from the main page, too:

Looks like the focus is mostly on the mobile/OpenGL|ES side of things.

Hopefully the next newsletter will shed some light on the progress of Longs Peak. I see a spot reserved for Volume 4 on the Pipeline page, so it must be close :)

Looks like the focus is mostly on the mobile/OpenGL|ES side of things. How do you figure? OpenGL ES has its own BOF, and the regular GL BOF won't be dealing with ES directly.
