can anybody tell me, what format of data has select buffer?

Red Book, p.536:
Each hit record consists of the following four items:
The number of names on the stack at the time of the hit
the minimum window-coordinates Z zoordinate
The maximum window-coordinates Z coordinate
The contenets of the name stack at the time of the hit

At least, I assume that you meant the hit record.
