Hi,
Is OpenGL developed using DO-178B process?.
Has it FAA(Federal Aviation Administration) certified?.

I have a funny feeling it is not FAA certified, don't take my word for it, I just seem to recall reading somewhere.

No, you cannot use normal OpenGL implementations for avionics displays.

If you need OpenGL for avionics displays you can get certified versions of OpenGL look at these URLs:

This would limit the available hardware options you had.
