are nvidia cards the best chips (for the money) for performance opengl and D3D? and if so, what board would you recommend...i.e. ELSA, etc.

I just bought the ELSA Gladiax MX (Geforce 2MX Chip) and I'm very satisfied with it. In my opinion nVidia gives you the best value for money.
