Drawing in 3D

Ps I need help with a class assignment.
I'm just taking this Computer Graphics class so I'm knid of new to this concept.
I'm required to write codes(C/C++)for display of basic shaped in 3D.
Actually the instructor said the shape will be in 2D but will appear like 3D after shading etc is applied.

Hey,
actually, I think what i really need now is probably any material(online) that I can study so I will be able to understand te conceot of 3D drawing better.
This would enable me implement the codes independently and if I run into a hitch I would ask for help.
