glw could not load open gl subsystem

everytime i try to play alice it says that and it gets on my nerves i even try to load it bye going to gl.com but it wont let is there anything that i have to have otherwise?

That happens to me also. I just got a new video card in my laptop,but it needs to be upgraded,and it says almost the same thing,but it says i need to go to opengl.org and download something? Please someone help.
