hi all! i have seen some intro and i liked the stuff so much that i have thought to do the same kinda stuff my self.. i am very new and i just dont even know whether my vga card supports it or not.. the vga card is trident 9750 card which supports 3d.. please let me know whether can i work with this card or not.. please help me..

in theory every video card supports opengl.. it just need driver...
your card does not support opengl...
buy a new card.. they are cheap... about 10 dollars and you have video card thtat supports opengl.. like riva tnt

hey thanks a lot man.. now i wonder if someone can give me a list of all good 3d cards like which ones are better for opengl.

I think the standing at the top is:
GeForce3, GeForce2, Radeon, ...
but that is mostly a guess. Soon will ATI release Radeon2 and if they managed to make good drivers may that be the new winner.

If you do not want to spend a lot of money is the TNT good but a GF2 MX is certainly better.
