Where can i find some informations about move in a 3d space ?

How can i move in a 3d space with OpenGL ?
I saw gluLookAt but i don't understand this function !
Do you know how can I move a camera .... ?
Because i don't know how calcul the new positions when I move ...
Because when a call glTranslate ...
Which arguments must I give to this function .. ?

Since you are new to this stuff you will want to get the books that explain it and read other tutorials, such as at nehe. Links and info are currently in the responses to "newbie to opengl" which is also a thread today ( 5/1/01 ). Good luck!
