3dfx + stencil buffer

who knows, if 3dfx cards provide hardware accelerated stencil buffering?

Well, that depends on what voodoo card your asking for...

V1 V2 V3 has to my knowledge no stencil.
V4 and above should have it.

Though I have never played around with a V4 (do they exists yet?).
Check out 3dfx.com, there are specs there you know...

V4 exists and it supports stenciling. V1,V2,V3 does not.
