Hi,
I was wondering if anybody knew of a program that imported a common format such as .3ds, .obj, etc., and exported an .ase file. I've looked at 3d Exploration. It imports .ase files, but doesn't export them.
Thanks,
Joe

3D Studio Max does this...

I already know this. I want to find a freeware converter so I don't have to hunt down 3d studio max just to convert my files. http://www.opengl.org/discussion_boards/ubb/smile.gif I guess I can always write my own at last resort, but I'd rather use a little freeware app or something.
Thanks,
Joe

Well if you dont want to make your own loader you could use View3ds which converts 3ds files into ccode plus a file which defines the vertices
