Passing color

I have one question.
How can I pass the color from image(texture).
Is it possible with Alpha blending?

PS:What the hell are MipMaps.

Hi,

For the alpha channel, use TGA file, the BMP file doesn't have a alpha channel.

On my site, I've a simple program who display a tree with / without the alpha channel.
