Microsoft-Borland-OpenGL

Hi guy's
I' m courently working on Microsoft platform -VC++6, but here and there I hear
about Micrsft's worste intentions about openGL.
Should I switch to Borland ( or something else ), and by this questions I'm
simply intrested in what other platforms have to offer?

Hi !

No, you can go on and continue using VC++, Microsoft prefer if you use Direct3D, and they would love to kill OpenGL, but there is no big reason to worry to much about it because there isn't that much they can do about it.

Direct3D is big on Windows, but if you want to support any other platform then you would be using OpenGL.
