opengl on sgi

I am going to write a opengl programme at irix and am unable to compile the programme. What factors should be considered while compiling the programmes, als o which header files should be included.

When having problems compiling a program the main factors you should consider are the output from the compiler, read it.

Please do not post generic questions. Stick to OpenGL specific questions.
