I`m starting to study opengl just now, but i would like to know what would be a good IDE for linux and for windows, can anybody please give-me some directions?

Linux, i thought Bill had stamped that out :)

For windows any of the visual studios are good.

Why don't you try eclipse? www.eclipse.org. (http://www.eclipse.org.) It is available for windows/linux etc....

I think eclipse is an excellent IDE for developers!
