glut : does devel continue?

hello,
i'm interested in a opengl devel and i've begun to look at glut. it seems that devel of this lib has stoped.... and that the liscence terms does not allow to do code modification... as a consequence glut does not support wheel mouses.... what a shame! is it possible to change the lisences terms or update this libs?

Depending on your needs, you may want to look at GLFW: http://opengl.freehosting.net/glfw

GLFW is not at all as extensive as GLUT (which, imho, is an advantage). It is free, open source, and you can do whatever you want with it.
