Free textures in .bmp form

Hi all,

Does anyone know where to get free and great looking textures in bmp format ? In particular, I'm looking for road and grass textures. Please help!!

Hi !

Why do they have to be in bmp format ? gimp and lots of other tools can convert them for you, even mspaint can read gif and png's and save them as bmp file.

There are a few sites that has free textures, but it changes from day to day so have a peek with google.

Actually I tried looking for the textures in google, but a lot of sites do not have what I need, so I was just trying my luck out here to see what sites experts use when they want a 'quick -fix' to their problems..
