View Full Version : Organic object
Hey! http://www.opengl.org/discussion_boards/ubb/smile.gif how am I suppose to know how to calculate an "organic" object ? an object who morph it self so it looks alive ?
A crawling worm, a blobby amoeba, or anything else?
"organic" can mean a few different things, requiring different techniques.
A crawling worm and a blobby amoeba http://www.opengl.org/discussion_boards/ubb/smile.gif
but if I must choose it has to be the blobby amoeba http://www.opengl.org/discussion_boards/ubb/smile.gif
The closest thing to a blobby amoeba I can think if, and is not that difficult, is marching cubes to implement a few metaballs.
Try this (http://astronomy.swin.edu.au/pbourke/modelling/polygonise/) place, it contains source on a marching cube implementation, and it's really easy to understand.
Thanks http://www.opengl.org/discussion_boards/ubb/smile.gif IŽll check that http://www.opengl.org/discussion_boards/ubb/smile.gif
