Hi !

I don't think so, but I have only used it a few times, I would suggest that you use something at a little lower level designed for games, like for example the "Simple DirectMedia Layer" (SDL)

This gives you some extras to, you get at least basic cross platform sound support and few other nice things, there are other alternatives to of course like GLUT and so on.
