Setting up an opengl window under X.

Anyone know how to or could direct me to some documentation on setting up an opengl windows under X-Windows?

There is a companion avaliable to the RedBook called OpenGL Programming for the X Window System. It has proven an excelent refrence.

Also, Mesa and glut come with a lot of demo progs and source that create windows.
