Here are a couple of popular sound library's that you can use with openGL.

FMOD www.fmod.org (http://www.fmod.org) sound/music

SDL Sound Device library www.libsdl.org (http://www.libsdl.org) Like glut but better and with sound.

OpenAL Audio library www.openAL.org (http://www.openAL.org)
