Does anyone know where I can download the necessary glu32.dll and other files for GLU utility library version 1.3?

I think that glu 1.3 requires OpenGL 1.2 so it can be difficult with MS OpenGL. The sources can be found at SGI in the sample OpenGL implementation. Mesa is going to have them for their next release so they are in the Mesa CVS. http://mesa3d.org/

Mango,

What do you mean by "the sources can be found at SGI"? Is this the source code for the glu 1.3 functions? What is this sample OpenGL implementation? Thanks.

This is my break from a reinstall process and my bookmarks is gone so I can not give you the URL to the SGI download. If I remember correctly can you get it from the extensions page. Perhaps someone else has it?

The sample OpenGL implementation is just a sample implementation of OpenGL. I guess it runs on some SGI machines. Other OpenGL implementations is derived from this. I do not have it anymore but OpenGL, glu, glut and some samples was in it.

The sample OpenGL implementation is open source and SGI also wants to release the source to the MS OpenGL implementation but MS says no. Some notes from ARB meetings was recently posted here on www.opengl.org, (http://www.opengl.org,) pretty interesting.
