place a #include <windows.h> before any other include

The code is OK here on my machine. you needn't to include windows.h if you are using glut.h, maybe you can create a new project and add a new cpp file, copy total code and link necessary lib files and compile again, I have encountered this problem before, and the most effective way is to create a new one.

this is the simplest solution.

1. file extension should be .c not .cpp
2. stdio and stdlib is on top before others.

Thanks for all the kind replies

I have compiled the file already in .c format only but then also it had shown that same error.

And also i have created many new projects and compiled the codes but also it gave the same error.

now i have included the
#include<Windows.h> and it compiled properly and i can see the output too...

Ffelagund, can you pls explain about the error, and why you told to include windows.h

Thankyou
