I am a brand new learner of OpenGL
Please some one guide me how to develop expertise in it.
I have my summer vacation in which I can give ample time to it.
if you know something about c programming you should read this:
http://ask.ii.uib.no/ebt-bin/nph-dweb/dynaweb/SGI_Developer/OpenGL_PG/@Generic__BookView;cs=fullhtml
otherwise you should learn a programming language first.

and don't forget NeHe's OpenGL tuts on
http://nehe.gamedev.net/
NOT just aimed at gamers, but quite easy.
I have a simple on-line course which you may
find useful at:
http://www.york.ac.uk/services/cserv/sw/graphics/OPENGL/index.html
Uses GLUT for the interface to your windowing environment.
Enjoy!
Rob.
