use jpeg for texturing

hello everybody

i begin with OpenGL and GLUT and i work with windows http://www.opengl.org/discussion_boards/ubb/frown.gif

i want to use jpeg image to make texture but i didn't know how to do this...

i haven't the jpeg lib so i can't read these jpeg so i want to know where i can find the jpeg lib (precompiling) for windows

or queried google for "lib jpeg dll"? i don't know, but perhaps it'll help ;-)

hey nate, have you ever used DevIL? it sounds quite good, but when i tried, there were no sources with linux makefile available. also, i got no response to an email...
