View Full Version : Flicker .......help!!!!!!

I have a battleship game in 3-D that is coming along fine. When a person clicks on there opponents grid a rocket is fired from one of the ships. Everything fickers while the rocket rises and rotates until its done. I use double buffering too!!!

Every time I draw out anything I call glFlush(); AND gluSwapBuffers(); .....

Is this the right way to get smooth animation...sure doesn't seem like it. Please help me!!!

Are you sure that you are drawing into the back buffer and not the front?

be sure to use glClear(...) before you redraw
