Hi,

I have Kinetix 3D studio max 2.5 and that program save files to *.max why not *.3ds?
Do I need a latest version of 3ds max?

.3ds is the old file format of 3dstudio, for MS-DOS. It is still used as an export format by many developpers. To export .3ds files, click on File/Export... .
