Outdoors environment

Hi all...

I was wondering if someone could help me with some tips on lighting and fogging to create a realistic ( well, maybe just semi-realistic =) outdoors view. I've downloaded a couple of demos w/ source, but I can't get it quite right.

Depending on your hardware may you have some extensions that can help. If you post some screenshot will it be easier to give some advice.
