Over at SGI they have a whole bunch of good tutorials. Some say they are a bit dry and difficult to read, but I like em.

The extensions specs are good for a reference (and for bedtime reading http://www.opengl.org/discussion_boards/ubb/smile.gif), but they aren't the best "tutorials" per se.
