Hello!

I'm the "formerly proud" http://www.opengl.org/discussion_boards/ubb/wink.gif owner of a asus geforce2 mx card on a msi k7t turbo motherboard. I've tried to no avail every driver (nvidia ref, asus driver, msi driver etc) I can find on the net and all give the same problem (more or less), e.g. opengl don't work http://www.opengl.org/discussion_boards/ubb/frown.gif

The most successfull I've been was when using nvidia reference drivers and installing them as follows:
1 Installing nvidia driver by running exe file.
2 Reboot + moving %Systemroot%\inf\oem[nvidia driver installed above's nr].inf to a backup directory
3 Uninstalling driver by right clicking on "Uninstall" in driver manager
4 Rebooting, when p'n'p find new hw - unselecting all locations, e.g. installing standard vga driver
5 Running nvidia remove tool (removing all old files left from uninstall above + deleting all nvidia related content I could find in the registry
6 moving oem[].inf back to %Systemroot%\Inf catalog.
7 Uninstalling standard vga driver as in step 3 and reboot.
8 In new hw p'n'p new nvidia driver installs correctly without problem!
9 OpenGL WORKS!!!!
10 reboot
11 OpenGL doesn't work http://www.opengl.org/discussion_boards/ubb/frown.gif((((
12 redo 1-11 for opengl to work http://www.opengl.org/discussion_boards/ubb/frown.gif(

step 11-12 sucks http://www.opengl.org/discussion_boards/ubb/frown.gif
Any suggestions, please?

System:
Windows 2000 prof. sp 3
msi k7t turbo
asus geforce2 mx (32mb)
512mb sdram
athlon 900mhz

Thanks in advance
