cs & mods freezing HELP!

i have just got my computer upgraded, and now it has a radeon7500 graphics card (supposed to fully support opengl mode)and about 1-5mins into a game of cs or a cs mod, it freezes, on software its good, but is not good, you know what i mean? and some mods need you to run them in opengl mode, so unless i get some help, im screwed.
anyway PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

well are u crashing for freezing 2 major differences. U might want to trey 2 things. 1 let ur firewall allow hl.exe and hlds.exe and steam.exe go to stempowered.com for that then try upgardeing your chipset agp miniport driver if u have intel or athlon go to their site and lok for your chipsets drivers
