OPENGL crashing - Stealth III S540 PCI/32mb - please, help!

As with everyone else, opengl is freezing up my OS within seconds of running. What's the simple way of fixing this common problem?! You'd think for the price that's paid that these problems would be easier than this to fix. Thanks anyone for assisting me.

....by the way, I'm 99% certain that my computer meets all of the neccessary requirements. Is there maybe some driver updates I might need to install?
