I have a laptop with the Savage MX chipset in it. Support for it appears to be discountinued by S3, does anyone know where I can get an Open Gl driver for it?
Thanks

The Savage MX is actively supported by S3 Graphics. Check out www.s3graphics.com (http://www.s3graphics.com)

I had previously found this site and at the time it was not active. I still cannot find a Open Gl driver,,as I am trying to get Cataclysm or Homeworld to work with my laptop. By lowering the acceleration 2 notches, I am able to get the game to load using software rendering,,but according to the stats online my card should support hardware rendering. Thanks

AFAIK, the S3 Graphics driver contains an OpenGL ICD. If this doesn't work, try posting the question at www.sdnews.net (http://www.sdnews.net) or some other Savage specific site.
