Stand By Mode

Why can't I get my computer to come out of stand by when I have the OpenGL drivers installed (on my ATI Rage LT Pro)? I go into stand by just fine.

OpenGL itself has nothing to do with standby mode. Does not ATI bundle OpenGL drivers with other drivers for their cards?
If it is a problem just turn it off.
