Drivers

I purchased the Elsa GF2 Ultra and installed their drivers. I then heard about these Detonator Driver's (ver 6.5 was recommended), I used "Update Driver" from the Advance Properties and the version number and date have not changed.

What are the proper steps in setting up this driver? Should I uninstall all video drivers and then only install the Det3 drivers?

-Select DISPLAY ADAPTER in DEVICE MANAGER.
-Double click your card's name.
-Click UPDATE DRIVER.
-Follow the wizard until it asks"what do you
want windows to do?"
-Click SHOW ALL HARDWARE
-in MANUFACTURERS, click STANDARD DISPLAY
TYPES.
-in MODELS,select STANDARD VGA PCI GRAPHICS.
-let windows install this generic driver
and reboot.
-NOW go thru the same routine and install
your updated NVIDIA driver.
-AND YES!!! YOU HAVE TO GO THRU ALL THIS
EACH NVIDIA UPDATE.
