View Full Version : problems with v3 2000 and its 3dfx opengl

Hi, I have a Voodoo 3 2000 and all the games I have (except quake 2 with minigl), donīt recognize the 3dfx opengl feature. eg: In most of them i can just pick default opengl and when I try to use 3dfx opengl the game reboots its video system and again is setted as default opengl.
I have tried to re-install setupgl, directx7a, voodoo drivers... but nothing happend
could anybody help me?

could it be a bios problem? I have an epox 6vba motherboard, with Via chipsets.

I have the same card and the Quake 3 demo simply rocked! So it is possible.

GET RID OF SETUPGL!!!

The latest 3DFX drivers for the V3-2000/3000(ver 1.07) contain a more complete version of the OpenGL ICD and also DIRECTX 8 support. And I think you can even ditch the miniGL files as well (although I haven't tested this yet).
