drivers with open gl, what should i do?

i want to play the usual games with open gl but i wont let me, iv been told because of my driver on xp, i want to know if i download the new driver from NVIDIA, will it stuff my computer. Also does Windows XP come with the driver, so, if i want my old driver back can i load it on, or format and put qindows xp back on and it will come back.... help would be much appriciated, thanks heaps guys...

It sounds like you upgraded to windowsXP recently, and your games no longer work? If so, that's what has happened to a ton of people on this board.

Definitely download and install the latest driver from Nvidia (if you have a Geforce card, otherwise from your graphics card manufacturer).
