gforce2 opengl prob

opengl screen saver works, half life,counterstrike gl works, but when i try quake3,alice,mdk it locks my comp, q3 freezes just b4 the id logo,mdk screen goes black,alice subsystem wont work, wots goin on, sum1 must ov had same prob and sorted it help,this1 is makin me lose hair and sleep,
help plz!!!

If you have VIA chipset on your motherboard, try to install the latest drivers to fix the Southbridge bug. This crashes the system when sound is playing on a Soundblaster card ;-)
