View Full Version : OpenGL not supported
I've recently been playing a game that is known to perform better using OpenGL. When I try to change the visual settings to use OpenGL, it says that it's not supported.
My video card:
Name: Rage 128 Pro Ultra GL AGP
Chip Type: Rage128 Pro II (AGP 4X/PCI)
What can I do?
All Half Life games (Counter Strike in this case).
Did you try www.ati.com (http://www.ati.com) for the drivers?
You may experience problems. ATI wasn't known for good drivers during RAGE era.
I have this same problem with Team Fortress Classic(Half-life Mod). I didn't have this trouble until I restored my computer
I'm in search of a *free OpenGL driver, seeing as I can't afford to buy one.
If anyone has any info on where I could find one, please let me know via post reply.
Thanks
I'm in search of a *free OpenGL driver, seeing as I can't afford to buy one. You have to download your video card's drivers which probably include GL support.
AFAIK, these are always free.
I have been updating my Nvidia drivers and ATI drivers for years and it's always free.
