Which driver for radeon 8500?

I just got myself an Guilemont/ Hercules Radeon 8500 LE. I wanted to download the latest drivers, so I did. But when installing an error message occurs, saying that the crad installed in my system doesn't match the driver I'm trying to install. Is it because I have an Hercules Radeon, and I tried to install the latest (original) ATI drivers?

Yes, you probably clicked the "Built by Ati" link instead of the "Powered by Ati" link. Since you have a 3rd-party card, either get the drivers from Hercules, or download the reference drivers from the "Powered by" link.
