windows2000 & CS problem(already tried the nvfixsfx)

I have windows2000 with no service pack and installed 41.90 and nvfixsfx.exe as suggested by the replies, but when I play the counter strike, it still says 'video card does not support the mode', which is bs since I have been playing CS for 6 month under windows2000 with service pack#3 and 29.42 driver. Anyboday has suggestions?

W2K without SP has lots of problems with AGP cards.

Install at least SP2.
