G3D Engine 7.01 Released

G3D is a 3D graphics engine that wraps OpenGL in a GPU and OS independent C++ layer to provide portable high performance and ease of use. Version 7.01. You can download it for Windows, Linux, FreeBSD, and OS X from http://g3d-cpp.sf.net. Major highlights of this release include:
- Video input and output—direct to OpenGL textures
- Extended developer tools and GUI
- Parallax bump mapping for SuperShader using pixel shaders

PDFCube 0.0.3 improves its rendering routines based on OpenGL

PDFCube improved it’s rendering effectiveness in the 0.0.3 release using multitexturing and call lists. PDFCube is an OpenGL and Open Source application to smoothly view PDF documents with an added spinning cube trasition effect.

The new version of NeoAxis engine is out. NeoAxis Engine is an all-purpose, modern 3D graphics engine for 3D simulations, visualizations and games. Ogre Technologies releases Glux 0.3.3

Today Ogre Technologies released version 0.3.3 of their new Glut-like library, Glux. This new release includes several bug fixes as well as new features, such as dynamic event filters, OpenGL 3 context support, and more. Ogre Technologies, the lead company behind Glux, says that even though Glux is growing quickly, more developers are certainly welcome. Therefor they welcome the help of any Linux-or Mac-guru that wishes to offer his/her services to port Glux to their own OS.
